Want to create some major momentum on your team?

If you are in a binary plan and you really want to create some MAJOR momentum then you are in for a great ride.  

Most are looking for money at the beginning and making your business profitable is very important.  But the fastest way to create long term profit is to look at your business as business.  Here's a statement you may want to remember:  

MOMENTUM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY!

That's right.  If you just run after the money then you may make a few hundred quick dollars and be very proud of yourself.  Unfortunately, you may have missed out on thousands or even hundreds of thousands with the same effort.

Let's look at structure to see the difference.  In a binary there are only 2 legs so to make any money, you need to keep adding people to both legs.  In the beginning, most rookies chase after a few pennies trying to keep them balanced.  

They tend to sponsor 1 in one leg and then place 1 on the other.  Or if they happen to have some spill over from their upline (the Community leg), already in place, they will place both on their weak leg thinking that someone is already in that leg and they want a binary bonus.  Both of these are mistakes! (Unless that is the only way to make money in your binary.)

If there are bonuses for sponsoring, bonuses for lifestyle or group size regardless of the binary leg placement, then the best approach is to go to the leg that is the Community leg and sponsor a ton of people straight down in that leg.  

Create a firestorm of new people coming in the same leg by having everyone of your new reps do the same as you are doing.  Everyone feeding the Community leg straight down!  Have everyone do it and have them continue to do until they max out the other bonuses.

Let's say, as an example, you get an extra $300/month when your total personal group size is 12 people regardless of what leg.  What would motivate people more:  1 or 2 people downline or an extra $300/month after their first 30 days?

If you sponsor 2 or 3 in your first 30 days and they do the same then the most you have is a small amount of momentum off your effort.  You split up your effort in half trying to feed both legs.  You have a very small chance of making any kind of momentum.

No one is really seeing any major benefit.  Not a real proof of any momentum nor of you helping your team because you are running between both legs. You may not even get to the extra bonuses because they may drop out before you can get enough going on.

If you put the same 2 or 3 in the same leg, then everyone gets the benefit of your efforts and the efforts of everyone else.   Even the bottom person has a mindset that in less than 30 days they can have the $300 bonus coming in because everyone above him is getting it and is focused on momentum and long term profit.  You proved that it can be done and you have a strategy to help them too!

Soon everyone is duplicating and huge numbers are coming in below them.  Everyone seems to be getting the bonus and no one wants to be left behind so those that just were watching for a few days or weeks become excited because you are focused on putting a lot of people below them. 

You keep sponsoring and keeping placing people straight down from everyone else.  Even if you have to sponsor all 12 people yourself, you have proved that the strategy model works.

Once you get it out of control and you've talked to your upline mentor, then start your 2nd leg and do the same thing.  

Remember the key is that EVERYONE is sponsoring straight down - EVERYONE!

Gear Up For 2015

New Year, New vision, New goals and New excitement!  

Now it's time to get going again and set your activity to meet your dreams.  Let's start by taking care of business.  Your business.

The basics always work and when I am faced with getting 'back in the game', I revert back to doing the basics.  

Here's some helpful hints:

1.  Get on the CD of the week/month program for your business.  That way you will be getting the most current and important information for your business.  Start listening to 1 CD EVERY day.

2.  Attend all live events: national, regional and local.  You can start showing up and get around other winners that are making things happen in your company. Association is such a key ingredient for success.

3.  Start using all the products.  Order and use the products that move your business forward.  It's hard to sell or recommend something if you are not using and buying yourself.

4.Get a free copy of Earl Nightengale's "The Strangest Secret" and listen to it.  It's a classic in the industry and 50 years later it still hits the mark.  Just google the the free recording.

5.  Start reading 15 minutes a day from any book, blog or online website that gives you positive and uplifting information for you and your business.

6.  Get a new customer for your business.  maybe they are not even interested in your business but they love the product.  Help them get started and collect some extra bonuses.

7.  Follow the sponsoring pattern for your business.  Mine is very simple:  Make a list, contact the people on that list, show the business opportunity to those that want to see it, sign them up or keep following up until they do sign up and then rotate this pattern.  

Review your personal vision, goal and/or dreams at least twice a day.  Once in the morning and again as the last thing you do before going to bed.

Getting Duplication in 4 Easy Steps

Recently I listened to a CD that reminded me again that many people are trying to get everything done by themselves.  They talk about duplicating.  They talk about building a team.  They talk about how important it is to have duplication.  

The sad fact is that most do not and will not be able to duplicate themselves UNTIL they stop doing everything for everyone.  Or, they put in place a very simple duplicable system.

By our very natures as leaders, we want it to grow and go NOW.  We know we can make it happen so we just start to out work it. More time and more results but it's all about our work ethic and not about finding others.  

First of all, make sure that you have in place a system that ANYONE can duplicate.  We teach showing a video to someone showing the plan because it is so easy to duplicate.  We teach going to the events since ANYONE can show up.  We teach Showing the Opportunity, STP,  2 - 3 a week - every week regardless if a prospect says yes or no. We teach listening to a CD everyday so we keep ourselves motivated and educated.  We teach using your own product basically because it just makes sense.

That's a simple system. 

 I believe most people do want to duplicate but oftentimes we make the process so complicated they just don't know what to do.

There are some steps that will help but prior to using these steps, make sure that the people that you want to duplicate you really are wanting to duplicate you.  Not everyone really wants to duplicate or even build the business.  They may just want to use the product.  

By following these steps with everyone on your team you'll quickly discover the people that want to duplicate.

It's about duplication.  It's about other people following the same pattern.

The 4 easy steps boil down to just simple steps:  Tell, Show, Watch and Go!  Let's say you want to have more duplication on people showing the opportunity by themselves.  Let's walk through it quickly:

1.  Tell:

Teach them your STP process with a very simple outline.  Tell them what you are going to do on an appointment, what is going to happen, what they would be watching and what order you are going to do the presentation. 

2.  Show

Actually, go with them on their first TWO appointments and do the entire presentation yourself with them being totally quiet.  All you want them to do is observe.  

3.  Watch

On the Third appointment, have them do the first half of the presentation and you do the second half (that way you can clean up any thing that was messed up).  On the fourth appointment let them do the entire appointment.  You can evaluate later on the way home but you keep quiet during this one. 

4.  Go

Go downline, go wide or go to another new person and repeat the steps.  Just go!  If you have trained them properly, they should be fine.  I usually will be available for 3 ways or followups but not for showing the plan.  They know what to do and it's time for them to go and do it!

It's not easy leaving them.  It's not easy moving on.  You want to help but the problem is that if you are doing everything for them, why do they need to learn?  I have had to pull back on several occasions when I realized that the group was relying on me to do everything.  Just disappear! Go.
