Part 1 of 5 - Why I Use A Recruiting Website
In today’s high tech world it only makes sense to use technology to make your life easier. Using your recruiting website properly will accelerate your business and expand your personal reach beyond anything you have ever imagined.
There have been a lot of tools developed for our industry to help with recruiting – some even changed the industry!
There are prospecting tapes, videos, DVDs and CDs. There are sales letters, flyers, pamphlets and business cards. There are buttons and banners. There are signs for your car, your front yard and your office. Info commercials and ads on the Internet, radio or TV seem to be making an impact everywhere. There are even sizzle calls and toll free info lines. You can get hats, shirts and other apparel with your message all over them.
Some are expensive and costly. Some take a talent to create. Some only worked for a few. Some could not be duplicated. Some worked because they were unique at the time. Some are simple and easy to do.
One key observation is that none of them would have been effective without someone using them properly. They work when people work them properly.
Many of these are extremely effective even today but none of them has had such a massive effect like using a recruiting website properly. A recruiting website is the best tool you can use for our industry in the 21st century!
You can reach people all over the world from your website. You set it up once and it's good forever. The single BEST reason I have to use a recruiting website is: I do not have to be in the same physical location as my prospect. No longer am I confined to just talking to people in my community and neither is my organization!
You don’t have to leave your home. You can send people 24/7/365. You can work your business by just using a phone!
Lastly, a proper recruiting website should be available to all. It is perfect for duplicating.
It's one thing for me to be able to set in place a perfect sales funnel. Woo hoo for me. But if so few can duplicate what I created it does no good. Everything I do must be able to be duplicated by the BRAND NEW PERSON. Without duplication in our industry, you will have no long term residual growth.
Even though you may not know how to create a website or even modify the one you have, in Part 2 I’ll go over, “How a complete newbie can get the most out of a recruiting website.”
